Lio is close to the airport, landscaped, and self-contained. It can feel less connected to the organic bustle of El Nido town, but the convenience is excellent for short stays and travelers who value predictable facilities.
Nacpan and farther beaches
Nacpan is a destination stay. Choose it for long beach mornings and quiet nights, not as a hack for town-based boat tours. Road time, pickup coordination, and fewer dining options change the rhythm of the trip.
A split stay can work with five or more nights: complete boat days from town or Corong Corong, then move to Nacpan. With four nights, one base is usually better.
